Conference on China's reform and the Development of Chinese Political Science was successfully held on November 18 at PKU. The conference was sponsored by the Department of Political Science of the Social Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and organized by the Institute of State Governance Studies. More than 40 leaders and scholars from domestic and foreign universities and research institutions attended this meeting, such as Peking University, Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Jilin University, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Party School of the Central Committee of C.P.C (National Academy of Governance), Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Columbia University, etc.
