On October 28, the Symposium on "Carrying out the Spirit of the 19th National Congress and Developing Political Science in China" was held at the Songjiang Campus of East China University of Political Science and Law. Prof. Wang Puqu, dean of PKU Institute of State Governance Studies, convenor of political subject panel review of Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, was invited to attend the meeting, and held discussions with more than 40 experts and scholars from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Peking University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Nankai University, Zhejiang University, Nanjing University, Jilin University.
