On December 27, 2017, a research opening report on "Research on Strategic Development of State Governance Modernization" undertaken by PKU Institute of State Governance Studies, which is the key research center of humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of Education, was held at Liao Kaiyuan Building, Peking University.

　　Prof. Gao Pengcheng, chief expert, researcher of the Institute of State Governance Studies, and professor of Institute of School of Government, Prof. Wang Puqu, sub-project leader and dean of the Institute, Professor Song Lei, from School of Government, Associate Professor Hao Ran, from the Party School of CPC attended the meeting. The review committee consists of Prof. Bo Guili, Director of the National Center for Strategic Studies of the State Administration Institute, Prof. Jin Anping, Director of PKU Political Party Research Center, and Prof. Yang Lihua, Director of the Institute of Environmental Governance and Sustainability of Beihang University. The committee is led by Prof. Bo Guili, who presided over the opening report.
