From October 14 to 15, the conference on the revision of Introduction to Political Science was successfully held in China People’s Palace, Beijing, marking the official start of the second revision of the textbook. Wang kun, deputy director of the teaching material department of the theoretical bureau of the CPC central publicity department, attended the meeting along with experts of the revision group Wang Puqu, Zhou Guanghui, Chen Zhenming, Zhou Ping, Yan Jirong, Cheng Tongshun, Gao Minzheng, Wang Bingquan, Gao Pengcheng and Pu Ping, and editor Li Ming and Liang Yu from Higher Education Press. The meeting was chaired by professor Wang Puqu.
