The 2018 China Think Tank’s Governance Forum: Ideological and Theoretical Communication Summit, jointly hosted by Nanjing University and Guangming Daily, was held on December 22 in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. More than 700 experts and scholars attended the forum. “CTTI University Think Tanks Top 100 List” was released on the forum, and 25 think tanks such as Institute of State Governance Studies are evaluated as A+ level.

"The Systematic Analysis of Internet Public Opinion Governance in China and the Way to Good Governance " submitted by Research Fellow Zhang Quan and Yan Jirong of the Institute, was awarded the "Outstanding Achievements of the Year" by the University's Think Tank in 2018.
