In order to promote state governance system and modernization of governance capacity, advanceresearch into state governance, facilitate building of think-tank with Chinese characteristics, andmaterialize research results, we are now open to contributions to the Journal of Modernization of StateGovernance. Experts and scholars from all over the world are welcome to submit manuscripts. Detailed information is as follows:
1. About the Journal
Journal of Modernization of State Governance is co-published and edited by the Institute of StateGovernance Studies together with Co-Innovation Center for State Governance, Peking University, FudanUniversity, Jilin University, Sun Yat-Sen University and Chinese Academy of Fiscal Sciences. Thisjournal focuses on major theories and issues on state governance modernization. It publishes researchesbearing valuable importance of reference and application on state governance and public policies.Priorities will be given to researches supported by key projects of National Social Science Foundation,projects of the Ministry of Education, projects of key research institutes of social sciences in universities(Ministry of Education), projects in the form of international cooperation, etc.
2. Subject
This journal follows doctrines of Marxism, integrates theories with practices and scientific innovation,and actively promotes modernization of state governance. The main subject is modernization of stategovernance systems and governance capacity. Targeted researches related to such subject are allwelcome, such as the state governance theories, strategies, models and methodology, market governanceand supervision, social governance and public services, governance on the local level, rural and urbangovernance researches, industrial policies, governance of development, ecology, environment andgovernance reform, comparative governance researches etc. Book reviews and interviews with scholarson the subject are also welcome.
3. Requirement
1). Manuscripts should be 1000 words or so in length. Ingenuity would be very much valued.
2). All contributions, Chinese or English, should be unpublished manuscripts. Once adopted, theJournal will enjoy the copyright and pay its due remuneration.
3). Contributors should follow academic regulations and integrity. Any academic misconduct, oncedetected, will be handled seriously. If no further notice is received after two months since the submission,the contributor is at liberty to submit the manuscript to other publishers.
4). All contributions should use format as followed:
a. Front page: title, contributor introduction (name, affiliation, and research area), contact (phonenumber, email), abstract and key words in both Chinese and English
b. Body of the text should use typeface Song, size 5, 1.5 double spaced. c. All notes should befootnotes, no reference is needed.
d. Contributions should be word files titled” affiliation +name +title”
